- IRON COUNTY, UTAH IRON COUNTY COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE The County Commission will hold a public hearing and consider action at their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, July 28, 2025, 10:00 AM, at the Iron County Courthouse located at 68 S 100 E, Parowan, Utah. The hearings are to receive public comment on proposed revisions and amendments to the Iron County Land Use Code - Ordinance 2025-6 'Amending Sections 17.16.040 - Table of Site Development Standards; Sections 16.20.070 and 16.22.060 - Soils Suitability for Subdivisions; and, creating Section 16.04.065 - Leasing or renting multiple spaces or parts of a single lot or parcel. Considerations that reduce rear lot setbacks in the Commercial Zoning District, require different soil suitability testing for different types of subdivisions; and clarifying options to lease space/property within a single lot or parcel without constituting a 'subdivision'). All interested persons are invited to attend. Persons having questions or comments concerning this item may contact the Iron County Building/Zoning and Planning Department at (435) 865-5350.
