- PUBLIC NOTICE OF THE 2025 MUNICIPAL PRIMARY ELECTION The following offices will be determined at the Municipal Primary Election to be held in the County of Tooele on Tuesday, August 12, 2025: - Tooele City Mayor, 1 seat - Tooele City Council 2 seats at large - Grantsville City Mayor, 1 seat - Grantsville City Council, 2 seats at large - Erda City Council - District 4, 1 seat Visit vote.utah.gov for more information on candidates and races. Early voting will take place at the Tooele County Clerk's Office, 47 S. Main St., #318, Tooele, Utah 84074, Monday, August 4th through Friday, August 8th from 9 am - 4:30 pm each day. There will be in-person polling locations from 7 am to 8 pm on Election Day (August 12th) at: - Tooele County Administration Building, Council Chambers, 47 S. Main St., Tooele, Utah - Grantsville Fire Station, 26 N. Center St., Grantsville, Utah These locations are specifically for those needing ADA accommodation, those who did not receive a ballot in the mail, whose information is incorrect, or other emergencies. However, everyone is welcome. You will receive a paper ballot exactly like the one you received in the mail. After you fill out your ballot you will drop it off in a ballot drop box located on site. Ballots sent by mail can be returned in 1 of 3 ways: 1. By dropping it in a drop box by 8 pm on August 12, 2025, at one of these locations: a. Tooele County Administration building (front parking lot), 47 S. Main St., Tooele, Utah; b. Tooele County Clerk's Office, during business hours, 47 S. Main St., Tooele, Utah; c. Tooele City Hall (near utility drop box), 90 N. Main St., Tooele, Utah; d. Grantsville City Hall, 429 E. Main St., Grantsville, Utah; e. North Tooele Fire Station, 179 Country Club Dr., Stansbury Park, Utah; f. Erda Fire Station, 2163 W. Erda Way, Erda, Utah; 2. By mail, received in the Clerk's office no later than 8 pm on Election Day, August 12th. Postmark deadlines no longer apply, so please mail early! 3. In person at the Tooele County Clerk's Office, 47 S. Main St., Tooele, Utah. Additional information may be obtained by visiting tooeleco.gov/elections, by visiting the County Clerk's Office at 47 S. Main St., Tooele Utah or by phone at 435-843-3140.
