NOTICE OF A REGULAR LIBRARY BOARD MEETING July 15, 2025, at 6:00 PM ________________ PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Vineyard Library Board will hold a regularly scheduled Library Board meeting on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 6:00 PM, in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 125 South Main Street, Vineyard, UT. AGENDA 1. CALL TO ORDER/INVOCATION/INSPIRATIONAL THOUGHT/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 2. CONSENT ITEMS 2.1. Approval of June Library Board Meeting Minutes 3. BUSINESS ITEMS 3.1. Internet Policy Approval Review and approve the final draft of the Internet Policy before submission to the Utah State Library. 3.2. Friends Memorandum Review Discuss and approve the Friends of the Library Memorandum outlining the relationship and expectations. 4. REVIEW OF UPCOMING EVENTS AND ASSIGNMENTS 5. STAFF AND COMMISSION REPORTS 6. WORK SESSION 6.1. Used Book Donations Discussion Talk about whether the board should help collect books from DI and Savers. No vote needed unless it becomes a formal plan. 6.2. Library Logo Follow-Up Check the status of the logo and clarify who is handling it, Julie Ann or someone from the city. 6.3. Friends Fundraising Wish List Brainstorm a wish list to give the Friends group for targeted fundraising ideas. 6.4. Code Changes Overview Jenna and Valerie will present the city-mandated code changes to the board for transparency and awareness. No vote is needed. 7. ADJOURNMENT The next meeting is on September 16, 2025. This meeting may be held in a way that will allow a board member to participate electronically. The public is invited to participate in all public meetings.
