The HERRIMAN CITY SAFETY ENFORCEMENT AREA is proposing to
increase its property tax revenue.
The HERRIMAN CITY SAFETY ENFORCEMENT AREA tax on a
$640,000 residence would increase from $481.54 to $506.88, which is $25.34 per
year.
The HERRIMAN CITY SAFETY ENFORCEMENT AREA tax on a
$640,000 business would increase from $875.52 to $921.60, which is $46.08 per
year.
If the proposed budget is approved, HERRIMAN CITY SAFETY
ENFORCEMENT AREA would receive an additional $513,335 in property tax
revenue per year as a result of the tax increase. If the proposed budget is
approved, HERRIMAN CITY SAFETY ENFORCEMENT AREA would increase its
property tax budgeted revenue by 5.20% above last year's property tax budgeted
revenue excluding eligible new growth.
The HERRIMAN CITY SAFETY ENFORCEMENT AREA invites all concerned
citizens to a public hearing for the purpose of hearing comments regarding the
proposed tax increase and to explain the reasons for the proposed tax increase.
