OFFICIAL PUBLIC NOTICE OF
MUNICIPAL PRIMARY ELECTION
The 2025 Municipal Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. Ballots
will be mailed out to eligible voters starting on July 22, 2025. Voters must be of legal
voting age, citizens of the United States, and reside in the precinct in which they are
registered.
Voters can verify their registration status at www.vote.utah.gov.
Voter registrations must be received by the county clerk before 5:00 p.m. August 1,
2025. However, voters may register to vote at an early voting location or at a polling
location on Election Day.
In-person voting will take place at the Weber Center (2380 Washington Blvd, Ogden)
from Noon to 6:00 p.m. on August 5, 6, 7, and 8, 2025.
On Election Day, August 12, 2025, voting hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at
the Weber Center (2380 Washington Blvd, Ogden) and the Ogden Valley Library (131 S
7400 E, Huntsville).
Secure Ballot Drop Boxes are conveniently located at every city office located in Weber
County, every county library, the Weber Center parking lot, and on campus at Weber
State University. Drop boxes are open 24 hours a day and close promptly at 8:00 p.m. on
Election Day.
A public demonstration will be held on July 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. to test the voting
system that will be used for the Primary Election. A post-election audit of the Primary
Election will be held on August 19, 2025, at 12:15 p.m. Both events will be held in the
basement of the Weber Center (2380 Washington Boulevard, Ogden).
In accordance with Utah Elections Code 20A-5-405(1)(f), each city is required to post its
own sample ballot. Voters should refer to their respective cities for the correct sample
ballot. For Ogden Valley City, Weber County serves as the election official for this
election cycle only. The sample ballot for Ogden Valley City is available at
weberelections.gov and is included on the following pages of this notice.
