Panguitch City Planning and Zoning Minutes June 2, 2025, at 5:00 pm The Panguitch Planning and Zoning meeting was held at the Panguitch City Office at 25 S 200 E. Those in attendance were City Manager Mat Houston, City Recorder Tyrissa Howell, Committee Chair Chad Veater, and committee members Jon Torgerson, Clarence Herron, and Tracy Wright. Others in attendance were Kaden Figgins, Karl Volkman, and Teresa Volkman. Adoption of the Agenda Tracy Wright moved, seconded by Clarence Herron, to adopt the agenda. The motion passed with all in favor. Approval of the Minutes Jon Torgerson moved, seconded by Tracy Wright, to approve the minutes. The motion passed with all in favor. Public Hearing Allowing Accessory Dwelling Units Committee Chair Chad Veater opened the Public Hearing at 5:04 PM. Teresa Volkman stated that they would like to build a home next to their existing garage with living space. Kaden Figgins reviewed the changes made to the ordinance permitting accessory dwelling units. The City Council will draft a new ordinance with more detailed regulations for ADUs. Committee Chair Chad Veater closed the Public Hearing at 5:17 PM. Ordinance 2025-3 Allowing Accessory Dwelling Units Jon Torgerson moved, seconded by Clarence Herron to approve Ordinance 2025-3 Allowing Accessory Dwelling Units. The motion passed with all in favor.
