Description/Agenda
The Town of Alta Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to receive input on a proposal to rezone approximately 6.5 acres of land from FR-1 (Forestry and Recreation) to FM-20 (Forestry Multi-Family). The property to be rezoned is located on parcel 30-04-101-014-0000. The request is being made so the lot may be used to develop a condominium building, instead of a 10-lot single-family home subdivision. This notice formally initiates proceedings to amend the Town of Alta land use regulations. This is an open meeting in which you will have the opportunity to make comments and express support or concerns about the proposal. Notification of future meetings related to the proposal will be at the Alta Post Office, Town of Alta Administrative Offices, on the State Public Notice Website (https://www.utah.gov/pmn/), and the Town of Alta Website (https://townofalta.utah.gov/meetings/). Following the public hearing, the planning commission will hold a regular business meeting in which it will review the rezone request and discuss a recommendation to the Alta Town Council, which has authority to approve a rezone.
