NOTICE OF PROPOSAL FOR CREATION OF AN AGRICULTURE PROTECTION AREA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a proposal to create an agriculture protection area has been filed with the legislative body of Box Elder County, Utah by the owners of the following described property located in Box Elder County, Utah: (See Enclosed Maps) The proposal was filed on June 23, 2025. The proposal will be open to public inspection in the office of the Box Elder County Clerk, the official office of the county legislative body of Box Elder County, Utah, at the Box Elder County Courthouse, Main at Forest, Brigham City, Utah. Any person or entity affected by establishment of the proposed agriculture protection area may file a written request for modification of the proposal or written objections to the proposal within fifteen days of the date of this notice by mailing or delivering notice to: Box Elder County Commission C/O Box Elder County Clerk 1 South Main Street Suite #10 Brigham City, Utah 84302 The Box Elder County Commission will submit the proposal to the Box Elder County Agriculture Protection Area Advisory Board and to the Box Elder County Planning Commission for review and recommendations. The Box Elder County Commission will hold a public hearing to discuss and hear public comment on the proposal to create the agriculture protection area, the recommendations of the Box Elder County Agriculture Protection Area Advisory Board, the recommendations of the Box Elder County Planning Commission and any requests for modification of the proposal and any objections to the proposal to create the agriculture protection area.
