I, Casey Arnold, City Recorder and Election Official, hereby give
NOTICE OF THE MUNICIPAL PRIMARY ELECTION ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 12, 2025.
The following offices are to be voted on for West Point City:
MAYOR (4-YEAR-TERM) - ONE SEAT AVAILABLE
CITY COUNCIL MEMBER (4-YEAR-TERM) - THREE SEATS AVAILABLE*
The following individuals have declared candidacy and will appear on the ballot:

*Due to the withdrawal of Candidate Joelle Caruso, there is no longer a need for a primary election for the City Council race.
Votes for Mayor candidates WILL still be counted as part of the Primary Election.
Only the two mayoral candidates with the most votes in the Primary Election will proceed to the General Election.
Although listed on the Primary Election ballot, votes cast for City Council candidates will not be counted.
VOTERS: Voters must be citizens of the United States; residents of the voting precinct in which they are voting; and 18 years old or older by the date of the General Election in order to participate.

VOTING:
Vote-by Mail election. All eligible voters will receive a ballot by mail approximately three weeks prior to Election Day.
- Ballot Drop Box Locations can be found at www.westpointutah.gov/elections. Ballot Drop Boxes are available at all of these locations and are available 24/7 until 8 p.m. on Election Day.
- Polling Locations can be found at www.westpointutah.gov/elections. Polling Locations will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Election Day for any voter in Davis County to return their ballots or vote in person.
- Accessible voting machines are available. An individual with a disability who is not able to vote a manual (paper) ballot by mail, may obtain information on voting in an accessible manner by contacting the Davis County Clerk's Office at 801-451-3589 or in-person at 61 S Main Street, Farmington, UT
- Early Voting will be held at the Davis County Administration Building August 5th - August 8th from 8 AM - 5 PM. A ballot drop box is also available at this location.
PUBLIC DEMONSTRATION: A public demonstration will be held to test the voting devices and tabulation equipment on July 18, 2025 starting at 10:00 a.m. in the Davis County Administration Building, Room #202. Anyone desiring to witness the testing may attend. More attendance information can be found at davisvotes.com.
ELECTION AUDIT: A post-election audit will be conducted on August 22, 2025 starting at 10:00 a.m. in the Davis County Administration Building, Room #202. Anyone desiring to witness the audit may attend. More attendance information can be found at davisvotes.com.
