Town of Cannonville - Planning Commission Meeting Minutes June 18, 2025 Town of Cannonville held a Planning Commission Meeting, Wednesday, June 18, 2025, in the town Hall. The meeting began at 6:07pm. Purpose of the meeting was to continue to review the ongoing changes to the Town of Cannonville Zoning Ordinance. Public in Attendance: Bill Scoffield, Erik McDonald, Board Members: Peter Jensen, Klancy Ott, Cole Twitchell; Mark Nelson & Chelsea Nielson were exused Reading and approval of the Agenda/Minutes: Minutes of the previous Planning Commission meeting held May 21, 2025 were reviewed and approved. Motion Klancy Ott, 2nd Cole Twitchell, all in favor. Agenda was also approved. Discussion: The Chair, Pete Jensen, indicated the zoning document updates had been entered and it was ready for the next step. Erik McDonald asked a couple of questions about duplexes and how those requests would be handled. A discussion of variances on a case by case basis ensued; no new entries on duplexes was suggested. Bill Scoffield indicated a lawyer had been retained by the town for document review, among other things and he would email the doc to Justin W. Wayment, PC. for review next week. Bill Scoffield indicated that SITLA would be coming to Cannonville again on the 21st of June 2025 1pm for another town hall meeting with a group of archeologists asking for family stories and sentiments about Promised Rock. Adjourned: Motion to adjourn by Klancy Ott, 2nd by Cole Twitchell, adjourned 6:20pm; next meeting to be scheduled July 16th, 2025 at 6pm.
