From 6:30-7:00 pm on Thursday, June 12, 2025 in the Fountain Green City Hall at 375 N. State, the Fountain Green City Planning Commission will hold a hearing to review the individual chapter sections for adoption by the City Council and Mayor:
Land Use Ordinance
Chapter 2 - Definitions (additions)
Chapter 3 - Administration & Enforcement (update)
Chapter 5 - Appeal Authority (update)
Chapter 7 - Zone Districts & Standards (allow Short-Term Rentals)
Chapter 10 - Procedures for Approval & Development Standards for
a Subdivision (section 10-1-125 corner lots, section 10-1-113 &
114 simple lot subdivision exceptions)
Chapter 11 - General Design Standards for Construction &
Development in Fountain Green City (add section 11.33
procedures for approval & standards for Short-Term Rentals)
The public is encouraged to attend this public hearing. Public comments are encouraged, but may be restricted if the Planning Commission Chairperson deems it necessary to accomplish the Commission's scheduled tasks.
