NOTICE OF HIGHLAND CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING The Highland City Council will hold a public hearing on July 1, 2025 at 6:00 pm, or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Highland City Council Chambers, 5400 West Civic Center Dr, Highland, UT. The City Council will receive public comments concerning the following: - Highland City is considering adopting an ordinance to establish standards for the expiration of land use applications and approvals. The intent would be to provide reasonable timeframes for applications to be pursued and for approvals to be carried out while ensuring that applications and approvals that are not acted upon within a reasonable time expire if there is no activity or progress, so to ensure that current city standards can apply to new development activity. For more information or special accommodation to participate in the meeting, please contact the Highland City Recorder at (801) 772-4505 Monday through Thursday between the hours of 7:30 am and 6:00 pm. THE PUBLIC IS INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS.
