DOCUMENT 00 11 13 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR STREET ACCESSIBILITY AND SAFETY PROJECT- ROHMER PARK NORTH ENTRANCE CDBG PROJECT Sealed Bids for the construction of the Street Accessibility and Safety Project- Rohmer Park North Entrance CDBG Project will be received by Washington Terrace City, at the City Office, 5249 South 400 East, Washington Terrace, UT, until 10:00 am local time on July 8, 2025, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of constructing a new entrance to Rohmer Park including structural retaining block wall, fending, concrete flatwork, and a new sign and is generally located at 1500 S 650 W. The project has an Engineer's Estimate of $151,641.25. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. All documents listed in paragraph 7.01 of the Bid Form must be submitted. No pre-bid conference will be held. SPECIAL PROJECT CONDITIONS: This project is funded in whole or in part by a grant through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The contractor will be required to comply with all federal labor standards and attendant laws, including the payment of the most current Davis-Bacon wages and compliance with Section 3 to provide employment opportunities for lower income persons and small businesses. Local, minority and woman owned business owners are encouraged to bid. Additionally, all applicable provisions of Build America, Buy America (BABA) will apply. The lowest responsible bidder will be selected. Funds for the Project are contingent only upon an award from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Jones & Associates Consulting Engineers, 6080 Fashion Point Drive, South Ogden, Utah, (801) 476-9767. Questions related to the Bidding Documents are to be submitted in writing to Shane Taggart, shane@jonescivil.com no later than 5:00 pm on July 2, 2025. Bidding Documents may be viewed and purchased online at www.jonescivil.com. Following registration and payment of $20.00, complete sets of Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the Issuing Office's website as portable document format (PDF) files. Upon request, a printed copy of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office for $40 per copy. Costs related to obtaining Bidding Documents are non-refundable. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bids will be accepted only from Bidders prequalified by the Owner.
