NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that Ballard City will hold a public hearing to discuss submitting an application to the Permanent Community Impact Board (CIB) for funding of the proposed 1000 South 500 East to 1500 East Project. This project would consist of constructing approximately roughly 0.6 miles of road and a box culvert along 1000 South from 500 East to 1500 East, generally located on the eastern edge of Roosevelt City and western edge of Ballard City in both Duchesne and Uintah counties. The project will be a joint project between Ballard City, Roosevelt City, and Duchesne County Special Service District #2. The estimated project cost is $4,352,000. The CIB funding application will be in the amount of $3,264,000. Ballard City will solicit comments concerning the size, scope, and nature of the funding request for the above project. All interested persons shall be given an opportunity to be heard. The public is encouraged to attend. The hearing will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Ballard City building located at 2381 East 1000 South, Ballard, Utah.
