FY25 Final Budget
Nate recaps: Currently at 2 and a half weeks from final budget costs and all expenses paid. Advised to leave enough room for any unforeseen items. Main line plumbing expense was slightly over budget. Likely to end in red, which was foreseen. Jamee inquires how to recover loss from previous year in future. Nate advises work on replenishing reserves for future, work towards profit.
FY26 Budget
Nate recaps: Based on 228 students, slightly low and hoping for higher enrollment by Fall. Budget is in positive by $17k and additional contingency. Staffing is planned for additional enrollment. State revenue comes after October. Brian adds the enrollment is at 270 as of this week. Also, working on obtaining Chromebooks 1:1 within the proposed budget. Jess inquires about a cleaning budget expense. Brian adds desire to outsource and not leave classroom cleaning to staff. Nate adds the Professional Staff line item will be rolled into flexible allocations, due to simplifying state line items.

Audit report will be completed by Nate near end of October.
Jess completing board training on audit committees and internal audit functions, as required by R277-113-4. Need completion by end of month. Jamee will send links to exact training modules. Jess will confirm with Nate, Jamee and Marisa after completion. Nate confirms it needs to be posted in minutes when completed.
Designation and visibility must be on website of audit committee members. Need direct access to website to post items. Nate adds most compliance should be done by the time school begins. Jamee and Chris on audit committee.
