SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION SALT LAKE CITY COUNCIL NOTICE OF HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON Tuesday, July 1, 2025, a public hearing will be held at 7:00 p.m. by the Salt Lake City Council to accept public comment and consider adopting an ordinance that would amend various sections of Title 21A of the Salt Lake City Code relating to public hearing requirements for appeals and variances. The proposal makes the necessary changes to comply with House Bill 368 (HB368), adopted by the Utah Legislature in 2025 and went into effect on May 7, 2025. One part of HB368 prohibits cities from holding a public hearing for any appeals of a land use decision and requests for variances. Petition No.: PLNPCM2025-00327. All persons interested and present will be given an opportunity to be heard in this matter. This meeting will be held via electronic means, while also providing an in-person opportunity to attend or participate in the hearing at the City Hall, located at 451 South State Street, Room 315, Salt Lake City, Utah.
