Description/Agenda

NOTICE is hereby given that the Fillmore City Council will hold a public hearing in conjunction with the regularly scheduled city council meeting on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 6:35 p.m. at the Fillmore City council chambers located at 75 West Center Street, Fillmore, Utah. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comment regarding amending the Residential 2 zone to include addition of definitions, a change in the maximum height for telecommunications facilities to 45 feet, and the reclassification of gated communities to the Residential Multi-Family zone. The amendments also clarify language regarding 'disabled care' and 'elderly care' services, establish a zero-foot setback requirement for side units, and specify that the exemption for farm and livestock animals does to apply to multi-family units.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations during this meeting (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) must notify the city office at 75 West Center Street (435-743-5233)at least three (3) working days prior to the meeting.

The Fillmore City Council reserves the right to move any agenda item forward. Any item, regardless of how stated on the agenda may be acted on by the City Council at this meeting. The Council may vote to discuss certain matters in Closed Session pursuan
