CITY OF MONTICELLO ZONE CHANGE
APPLICATION
Notice is hereby given that the Monticello City Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday July 1, 2025, to receive comments on a Zone Change Application for parcel #A33240305410 for the purpose of meeting required side setbacks for new home.
Legal Description: A tract of land within Section 30, Township 33 South, Range 24 East, SLB&M, County of San Juan, State of Utah more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the C1/4 section line of said Section 30 located S89º58'11'E 154.37 feet from the W1/4 corner of said Section 30; thence S89º58'11'E 92.96feet along the C1/4 section line, thence South 229.67 feet, thence West 92.96 feet, thence North 229.72 feet to the point of beginning, containing 0.49 acres more or less.
This request will consist of rezoning the current property from A-1 to R-2. The hearing will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Hideout Community Center, 648 S Hideout Way, Monticello UT 84535. Copies of the complete zone change application are available for public inspection in the Monticello City Recorders Office. Written comments may be addressed to Recorder Melissa Gill, melissa@monticelloutah.org, City of Monticello, PO Box 457, Monticello, Ut 84535. Comments must be received prior to or on the hearing date.
