Notice of Expiring Term - Northern Region Trustee 2025
Utah Transit Authority Board of Trustees Northern Region Trustee
In accordance with the Board Vacancy and Conflicts Act (Utah Code §63G-24-201), the Utah Transit Authority is providing notice of an expiring term of the Northern Region Trustee position currently held by Beth Holbrook. The term is scheduled to expire November 1, 2025. Nominations for this position are governed by the Public Transit District Act (Utah Code §17B-2a-802.7) and require certain stakeholder entities to submit nominees to the Governor. Nominations were made to the Governor by June 1, 2025 for consideration. Those nominations include:
- Davis County Council of Governments (1 nominee)
- Davis County Commission (1 nominee)
- Weber County Council of Governments (1 nominee)
- Weber County Commission (1 nominee)
- Box Elder County Commission (1 nominee)
The Governor is required to make an appointment within 60-days of receiving nominations and, after 30-days of public comment, submit the appointment to the Utah Senate for advice and consent.
Public comment to the Governor is being received through the Utah Boards and Commissions website.
