- The State of Utah DHHS and Local Public Health Governance Committee Meeting Approve Minutes: June 2nd, 2025 Grant Title Executive Committee Review Description Title V Maternal and Child Health Block Grant Grant Period: 10/1/2025-9/30/2026 Grant Amount: $6,319,510 The Individual Public Health Services Exec group met last Thursday to review the following grant application: Maternal-Child Health (MCH) Block Grant renewal. A motion was made and unanimously approved to recommend the approval as proposed to Governance. The Title V MCH Services Block Grant Program is authorized under Title V of the Social Security Act to ensure the health and well-being of women, mothers, infants, children (including children with special health care needs), adolescents and their families. Rules Review/Discussion: Rule # Rule Name Topic Other Agenda Items: Other Agenda Topic Discussion Includes Notes WIC Funding Formula Individual Public Health Services Exec group met last Thursday and reviewed the following: WIC funding formula: Chris Furner came to review and discuss the proposed WIC funding formula for FY2026. A motion was made and unanimously approved to recommend approval of the formula as proposed to Governance.
