NOTICE OF HIGHLAND PLANNING COMMISSION
PUBLIC HEARING
The Highland Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on June 24, 2025, at 7:00 PM or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Highland City Council Chambers, 5400 West Civic Center Dr., Highland, UT, to consider and receive comments regarding the following:
- Highland City is considering entering into a site-specific, legislative development agreement for the property located at approximately 11200 N Highland Boulevard, county parcel 11:036:0217 that modifies the development requirements for this property under the Professional Office (PO) zone. The intent would be to modify the current master site plan for the site to facilitate a single, single-story building intended to be used as a daycare.
- Highland City is considering adopting an ordinance to establish standards for the expiration of land use applications and approvals. The intent would be to provide reasonable timeframes for applications to be pursued and for approvals to be carried out while ensuring that applications and approvals that are not acted upon within a reasonable time expire if there is no activity or progress, so to ensure that current city standards can apply to new development activity.
