Bluff Water Works Special Service District Meeting Minutes for April 12, 2025 Called meeting to order: 7:03 In attendance: Marx Powell, Steve Simpson, Amer Tumeh, Mike Yearous Jennifer Davila Absent: Brandt Hart Audience: Ann Leppenen, Linda Sosa, Gary Lichtenstein Approval of minutes: Simpson motions to table the approval until next meeting Yearous seconds Passes unanimously Community Input: Culinary Water: Powell: Things are working well. Unfinished Business: Water Meter Applications: Meter Report: Powell: There was a leak that was on 3rd West going north. The school was responsible for fixing the leak, their line is one of the only systems in town that the line starts at the valve not the meter because they required an 8 in line for the fire suppressions system. We monitored the repair, but they fixed it. There is hydrovacing happening on the systems for the Sunrise lead and copper testing, they have to have verification on the lines coming in and going out of the meter to make sure that it is in compliance. There were 28 meters in Bluff that needed to be verified. The compressor was finally fixed on the air conditioner at the plant.
