- LAYTON CITY LIST OF CANDIDATES AND NOTICE OF 2025 MUNICIPAL PRIMARY ELECTION PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that Layton City will hold a Municipal Primary Election on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, to nominate four City Council candidates and two Mayoral candidates for the Municipal General Election scheduled for Tuesday, November 4, 2025 to determine two (2) City Council positions and a Mayor. The election will be conducted primarily by-mail with a vote center at the Davis Conference Center on Election Day. Following is the list of names of candidates who filed for candidacy for the 2025 Layton City Municipal Primary Election, in ballot order. Mayoral Candidates 4-year term (Vote for one) Amy Midori Jones Trevor Lee Foust Joy Petro City Council Candidates 4-year terms (Vote for two) Britshana Dahl Barfuss Cody Rae Jory Rand Argyle Claude Young Jarrod Morrill Mike Kolendrianos Bettina Smith Edmondson Linda Lartigue In order to vote in this municipal election, a voter must be registered within the municipality. Additional information on registration can be obtained by contacting the Davis County Clerk's Office at (801) 451-3325 or by visiting www.vote.utah.gov.
