Ordinance Adoption
During the Regular City Council Meeting held June 3, 2025, the Heber City Council adopted Ordinance 2025-05, 2025-07, 2025-10, and 2025-14. Ordinance 2025-05 approved a text amendment to allow body art facilities in Heber City. Voting Yes: Council Members Barney, Cheatwood, Johnston, Ostergaard, and Phillips. Voting No: none. The motion passed 5-0. Ordinance 2025-07 amended a zone dividing a property from half residential and half industrial, to be entirely industrial. Voting Yes: Council Members Barney, Cheatwood, Johnston, Ostergaard, and Phillips. Voting No: none. The motion passed 5-0. Ordinance 2025-10 approved the Red Rock annexation where Delta Stone is located. Voting Yes: Council Members Barney, Cheatwood, Ostergaard, and Phillips. Voting No: none. Council Member Johnston was recused from the discussion and vote. The motion passed 4-0. Ordinance 2025-14 fulfilled the State requirement outlined in Utah Code Annotated 10-3-818 - Salaries in Municipalities, to hold a Public Hearing and disclose wage increases for elected officials and appointed officers in Heber City, and approve by ordinance. Voting Yes: Council Members Barney, Cheatwood, Johnston, Ostergaard, and Phillips. Voting No: none. The motion passed 5-0.
