SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION
SALT LAKE CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON Tuesday, May 7, 2024, a public meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. by the Salt Lake City Council to accept public comments and consider adopting an ordinance that would amend the zoning of properties at approximately 536 South 200 West, 216 West Orchard Place, 224 West Orchard Place, 226 West Orchard Place, and 230 West Orchard Place from D-2 (Downtown Support District) to D-1 (Central Business District). The proposal would align with a recently approved D-2 to D-1 amendment for a neighboring property to the north. Future development plans were not submitted by the applicant at this time. Consideration may be given to rezoning the property to another zoning district with similar characteristics. The project is within Council District 4. Petitioner: Jason Boal, representing the property owners. Petition No.: PLNPCM2023-00730.
All persons interested and present will be given an opportunity to be heard in this matter. This meeting will be held via electronic means, while also providing an in-person opportunity to attend or participate in the hearing at the City and County Building, located at 451 South State Street, Room 315, Salt Lake City, Utah.
