- PUBLIC NOTICE Notice of Vacancy- Cedar Mountain Fire Protection District Notice is hereby given that the Cedar Mountain Fire Protection District Administrative Control Board is looking to fill one (1) vacant position. The term for this position will expire 12/31/2025. Each subsequent term will be 4 years in length. Applicants wishing to apply for this position must be a property owner that receives services from the District. Anyone interested in filling this position may submit a signed letter of interest and a brief resume to the following address: Kane County Commission c/o Morgan Shakespear 76 N Main St. Kanab, UT 84741 Hand delivered letters may be dropped off in the Clerk's Office at the Kane County Courthouse. Emil submissions can be sent to: mshakespear@kane.utah.gov Please submit letters of intent by 5:00 pm Friday, May 17, 2024. Applicants will be interviewed by the commissioner assigned as a liaison to this district, who will then make a recommendation for appointment to the full County Commission at the May 28, 2024 Kane County Commission meeting.
