The Utah Board of Oil, Gas and Mining meets Wednesday, March 27 at 9 a.m. at the Department of Natural Resources building at 1594 West North Temple in Salt Lake City. Docket No. 2024-016 Cause No. 132-33 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of OVINTIV USA INC. for an order pooling interests, including the compulsory pooling of the interests of certain non-consenting owners in the Chipeta UT 4-13 4-3-14-23-26-35-1H Well, producing from the drilling unit established for the production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Lower Green River-Wasatch Formations comprised of all of Sections 14, 23, 26 and 35, Township 4 South, Range 3 West, U.S.M., Duchesne County, Utah. (The Board will consider the recommended findings of fact and conclusions of law generated by the hearing examiner from the proceeding on March 20, 2024). 2. Docket No. 2024-017 Cause No. 132-34 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of OVINTIV USA INC. for an order pooling interests, including the compulsory pooling of the interests of certain non-consenting owners in the Ouray UT 4-13 4-3-13-36-7HX Well, producing from the drilling unit established for the production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Lower Green River-Wasatch Formations comprised of all of Sections 13, 24, 25 and 36, Township 4 South, Range 3 West, U.S.M., Duchesne County, Utah. (The Board will consider the recommended findings of fact and conclusions of law generated by the hearing examiner from the proceeding on March 20, 2024). 3. Docket No. 2024-018 Cause No. 132-35 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of OVINTIV USA INC. for an order pooling interests, including the compulsory pooling of the interests of certain non-consenting owners in the three (3) Jorgensen Wells identified herein, in the drilling unit established for the production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Lower Green River-Wasatch Formations comprised of all of Sections 4 and 9, Township 3 South, Range 2 West, U.S.M., Duchesne County, Utah. (The Board will consider the recommended findings of fact and conclusions of law generated by the hearing examiner from the proceeding on March 20, 2024). 4. Docket No. 2024-001 Cause No. E0450186 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of INTREPID POTASH, INC. and INTREPID POTASH-WENDOVER, LLC, Petitioners, to set aside the Division's approval of Utah Lithium, LLC's Amended Notice of Intention to Conduct Exploration for the Lithium King Exploration Project, Tooele County, Utah. (This matter was continued from the January 24, 2024, Board Hearing). 5. Docket No. 2024-007 Cause No. 199-05 - In the Matter of: Request for Agency Action of PERCHETTI ENERGY HOLDINGS, LLC for an order requiring an accounting and payment of proceeds from ARB Energy Utah, LLC. (On Tuesday, January 23, 2024, this matter was set for investigation and negotiation to be completed by the Division within 60 days. The Division's memorandum detailing its findings and recommendation for formal hearing is due to be filed on Monday, March 25, 2024. The Board will hear the Division's findings and recommendation for formal hearing at the March 27, 2024, Board hearing, and if recommended, proceed with the formal hearing). 6. Docket No. 2024-014 Cause No. 130-30 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of OVINTIV USA INC. for an order: (1) partially vacating the Board's orders entered in Cause Nos. 139-8, 139-42, 139-90 and 139-98 to establish lay-down (horizontal) drilling units comprised of Sections 16 through 18, and Sections 19 through 21; and (2) establish an overlapping drilling unit for drilling long lateral drilling unit boundary wells for the production of oil, gas and hydrocarbons from the Lower Green River-Wasatch Formations comprised of Sections 16 through 21 inclusive, all in Township 3 South, Range 3 West, U.S.M., Duchesne County, Utah, with certain caveats relating to existing wells thereon. 7. Docket No. 2024-015 Cause No. 470-12 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of UINTA WAX OPERATING, LLC for an order modifying the Board's orders entered in Cause Nos. 131-151 and 470-03 to increase the number of authorized long lateral horizontal wells from 12 to up to 36 in the drilling units established for such wells thereunder and within Township 3 South, Range 1 East, U.S.M., Uintah County, Utah. 8. Docket No. 2019-010 Cause No. M/045/0012 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of HOLCIM (US) INC. for an order extending the 10-year suspension period allowed for Holcim (US) Inc.'s operation and reclamation of the Poverty Point Mine, Permit Number M/045/0012, Tooele County, Utah. 9. Docket No. 2019-011 Cause No. M/045/0060 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of HOLCIM (US) INC. for an order extending the 10- year suspension period allowed for Holcim (US) Inc.'s operation and reclamation of the Skull Valley Mine, Permit Number M/045/0060, Tooele County, Utah. 10. Docket No. 2024-019 Cause No. RMNRL-2024-01 - In the Matter of Formal Rulemaking to amend the Large Mining Operations Rules pertaining to whether changes to a Large Mine Notice of Intention constitute revisions or amendments. 11. Docket No. 2024-020 Cause No. M0370001 - In the Matter of the Division's request to terminate reclamation contract and to release reclamation requirements for the Lisbon Mine.
