Ordinance Summary - ORD.2024.01,2024.02&2024.03 Toquerville City ORDINANCE SUMMARY On January 3rd, 2024, the City Council of Toquerville City adopted the following ordinance(s): ORDINANCE 2024.01 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND RESTATING SECTION 10-13-1 OF THE TOQUERVILLE CITY CODE TO REQUIRE PLANNING COMMISSION MEMBERS TO BE CURRENT RESIDENTS OF THE CITY DURING THEIR TERMS, FURTH DEFINING THE TERM 'ABSENCE' OF PLANNING COMMISSION MEMBERS FOR PURPOSE TO DEEMING A MEMBER HAS HAVING RESIGNED AND TO ELIMINATE COMPENSATION FOR PLANNING COMMISSION MEMBERS. On March 6th, 2024, the City Council of Toquerville City adopted the following ordinance(s): ORDINANCE 2024.02 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND RESTATING IN ITS ENTIRETY SECTION 7, CHAPTER 7, TITLE 7 OF THE TOQUERVILLE CITY CODE TO DEFINE THE DUTIES OF THE CITY CEMETERY CLERK AND REVISE THE PROCESS FOR BURIAL OF INDIGENTS. ORDINANCE 2024.03 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND RESTATING IN ITS ENTIRETY OF ARTICLE B, CHAPTER 18, OF TITLE 10 OF THE TOQUERVILLE CITY CODE ELIMINATING THE MULTIPLE USE ZONING DISTRICT AS A POSSIBLE ZONING DISTRICT WHERE AN EXTRACTION INDUSTRIES OVERLAY ZONING DESIGNATION COULD BE APPLIED FOR AND PERMITTED.
