NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 23rd day of January, 2024 at the hour of 6:00 p.m. of said day in the Council Chambers of Heber City, 75 North Main Street Heber City, Utah the Planning Commission will hold and conduct a Public Hearing to consider:
The Public Hearing is to consider a request for USE ADDITIONS to the Business/Medical Park Zone (BMP).
Summary of proposed amendments:
- Fitness Centers including dance studios, cheerleading, gymnastics and tumbling schools. (permitted use)
- Personal Care Services including barber shops, beauty salons, nail salons, diet and weight reducing centers, aesthetician, tanning, and massage therapy. (permitted use)
- Tattoo & Pawn Shops. (conditional use)
- Health related services including home health. (conditional use)
- Pet services such as grooming, training (Permitted use) (not including outdoor pet kennel/boarding)
- Indoor pet kennel/boarding (conditional use)
- Boutique Food retailers with a 30,000 square feet max. (permitted use) (Convenience Retailers prohibited)
The display and sale of all merchandise must occur within a structure and all manufacturing, processing, assembly and fabrication must occur within a structure
If the Public is unable to attend, the Public Hearing comments can be emailed to PCPublic@heberut.gov. All comments will be read aloud during the open comment portion of the Public Hearing and will be included as part of the permanent public records for this meeting.

I. The Public Hearing comments (for May 11, 2021) can be emailed to PCPublic@heberut.gov or submitted through heberut.gov; by selecting Agendas and Minutes to access a link to submit public comments.
II. All comments will be read aloud during the open comment portion of the Public Hearing and will be included as part of the permanent public records for the meeting.
III. Written comments will be read up to three minutes, please be succinct.
IV. The comment option for the online platform will be turned off during the meeting, including the Public Hearing portion of the meeting.
V. You may comment at the meeting by either:
a. Sending an email to PCPublic@heberut.gov or comment through heberut.gov, or
b. Turn on your camera and raise your hand, when the Chairman calls on you:
i. Limit your comments to three minutes
ii. Do your best not to repeat what has already been stated as your time is limited.
iii. When you have stated your comment, turn your camera back to off.
