Notice is hereby given that the Wasatch County School District Board of Education will convene on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 4:00 pm for a site tour of the new high school at 100 South 1000 West, Heber UT.
An Executive Session will follow the site tour to discuss the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual; and the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property, collective bargaining and or matters of litigation. Section 52-4-5 of the Open Meetings Act identifies the topics that may be discussed in a closed meeting. The regularly scheduled board meeting will begin at 6:30 pm, the study session has been canceled. These meetings will be held at the Wasatch Education Center, 101 E 200 N, Heber, UT.
The Board meeting will be broadcast live at Wasatch-YouTube.com. During the community comment section of the board meeting (comments and questions) will be accepted in-person, via email or online attendance via Zoom. The meetings are open to the public. Public participation is encouraged.
Wasatch School District has a policy, in accordance to R277-301-7, to prepare and support educators with an LEA-Specific license. The public is welcome to attend and offer public comment on LEA Specific Educator Licenses.
