PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Weber County, Utah will hold a regular commission meeting in the Commission Chambers of the Weber Center, 2380 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah, commencing at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, the 19th day of June 2018. The agenda for the meeting consists of the following: A. Welcome - Commissioner Harvey B. Invocation - Carlo Makapugay C. Pledge of Allegiance - Scott Parke D. Thought of the Day - Commissioner Ebert Inauguration Ceremony for new Commissioner, Seat B. E. Consent Items 1. Request for approval of warrants #1464-1476 and #429157-429324 in the amount of $3,856,569.49. 2. Request for approval of purchase orders in the amount of $127,658.28. 3. Request for approval of the minutes for the meeting held on June 12, 2018. 4. Request from the Weber County Assessor's Office for approval to surplus office cubicles, furniture and equipment. 5. Request for approval of a Retirement Agreement by and between Weber County and Julian Valerio. 6. Request for approval of ratification of the Depot Drive Construction Project's Change Order #12 which adjusts the contract dollar amount originally presented in an Inter-local Agreement with the State of Utah for the construction of Depot Drive. 7. Consideration and action on a request to amend a previously approved conditional use permit for the Edgewater Beach P.R.U.D Amendment 2. The amendment will reduce the number of storage units and increase their size as well as increase the size of the commercial pad in Phase 1, (CUP 2017-22). F. Action Items 1.Request for approval of Inauguration/appointment of Ceremony for new Commissioner, Seat B 2. Request for approval of a resolution of the County Commissioners of Weber County appointing members to the Weber-Morgan Board of Health. (WACOG seat will be filled after August 6, 2018 WACOG meeting). Presenter: Chris Crockett 3. Request for approval of the 2018 Tax Rates. Presenter: Scott Parke 4. Request for approval of final reading of an Ordinance of the County Commissioners of Weber County proposing amendments to the Development Service Fees. Presenter: Steve Burton 5. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Rocky Mountain Barrel Racing Association/Debra Conley to hold a Barrel Race in conjunction with the Red, White & Blue 'Buck Wild' Event at the Golden Spike Event Center on June 29-30, 2018. Presenter: Duncan Olsen 6. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Broken Heart Rodeo Company, LLC to hold a Rough Stock Championship Rodeo as part of the Red, White & Blue 'Buck Wild' Event at the Golden Spike Event Center on June 29-30, 2018. Presenter: Duncan Olsen 7 Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and CFM Inc. Party Times Rental to provide and run a Mechanical Bull as part of the Red, White & Blue 'Buck Wild' Event at the Golden Spike Event Center on June 29-30, 2018. Presenter: Duncan Olsen 8. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Mike Van Alfen for a Demolition Derby at the 2018 Weber County Fair. Presenter: Jan Wilson 9. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Intermountain Geoenvironmental Services, Inc. for Geological/Geotechnical Engineering Services for the North Ogden Divide Rehabilitation. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Talisman Civil Consultants for engineering services-hazard mitigation for the North Ogden Divide Rehabilitation.
