Meetings of the City Council of Clearfield City may be conducted via electronic means pursuant to Utah Code Ann. § 52-4-207 as amended. In such circumstances, contact will be established and maintained via electronic means and the meetings will be conducted pursuant to the Electronic Meetings Policy established by the City Council for electronic meetings.

CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Shepherd
SCHEDULED ITEMS:
1. INTERVIEW CANDIDATES TO FILL THE CITY COUNCIL VACANCY
2. DISCUSSION AND CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION 2016R-24 TO FILL THE VACANCY ON THE CITY COUNCIL
BACKGROUND: Councilmember Keri Benson submitted a letter of resignation from the City Council effective November 30, 2016 due to her moving out of the City.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve Resolution 2016R-24 authorizing the appointment to fill the vacancy on the City Council and authorize the Mayor's signature to any necessary documents.
3. MAYORAL APPOINTMENTS
BACKGROUND: Due to the appointment of a new councilmember it is necessary to make new assignments to various boards and commissions for members of the City Council.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve and Consent to the Mayor's appointments and authorize his signature to any necessary documents.
4. CONSIDER APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION 2016R-25 MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE NORTH DAVIS SEWER DISTRICT'S BOARD OF TRUSTEES
BACKGROUND: Kent Bush's term on the North Davis Sewer District (NDSD) expires on December 31, 2016. Mayor Shepherd is proposing Councilmember Kent Bush be reappointed to the NDSD Board of Trustees.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve Resolution 2016R-25 reappointing Councilmember Kent Bush as a representative for Clearfield City on the North Davis Sewer District Board of Trustees.
5. CONSIDER APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION 2016R-26 MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE NORTH DAVIS FIRE DISTRICT'S ADMINISTRATIVE CONTROL BOARD
BACKGROUND: Councilmember Keri Benson has been representing Clearfield City on the North Davis Fire District's Administrative Control Board. Due to her resignation, Mayor Shepherd is prepared to make a recommendation to fill the vacant seat for the City's representative on the Board for the remainder of the term expiring December 31, 2018.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve Resolution 2016R-26 authorizing Mayor Shepherd's recommendation to the North Davis Fire District's Administrative Control Board and authorize the Mayor's signature to any necessary documents.
