Notice of Midterm Trustee Vacancy
The North View Fire District ('District') is seeking applications for candidates to be considered for appointment to fill a midterm vacancy on the Board of Trustees, which is the legislative body of the District. The successful candidate will serve the remainder of a term that will end on December 31, 2017.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a registered voter and a resident within the boundaries of Division 2 of the District (North Ogden City). UCA 17B-1-302(1)(a).
DETAILS: Interested candidates must submit a letter of interest and resume to Sallie Garcia, District Clerk, North View Fire District Station 21, 315 East 2550 North, North Ogden, Utah 84414, on or before Monday, October 17, 2016 by 5:00 p.m. Following the deadline, applications will be reviewed by the Board and interviews may be extended to some or all of the candidates. Any candidate interviews will be conducted during an open, public meeting of the Board as required by the Open and Public Meetings Act. The Trustees will vote to fill the vacancy during the Regular Board Meeting on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the North View Fire District Station 21 located at 315 East 2550 North, North Ogden, Utah at 5:00 p.m.

Notice of Electronic or Telephone Participation
Pursuant to the NVFD Electronic Meetings Policy adopted March 16, 2011, 1 or more trustees may participate electronically and the NVFD Station 21, 315 E. 2550 N. North Ogden, Utah, has been designated as the anchor location, where members of the public may monitor and, when appropriate, participate in the meeting. After notifying the District Clerk, Trustees may participate electronically by telephone, Skype, FaceTime, or any method that facilitates communication electronically.
