NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC FY 2017-2022 STATEWIDE TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (STIP) TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (TIP) Notice is hereby given that the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) and the Dixie Metropolitan Planning Organization (DMPO) are seeking public review and comment on the proposed Dixie 2017-2022 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and to the 2017-2022 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). The TIP is a six-year program of highway, transit, and other transportation projects for the urbanized and metropolitan transportation planning boundary of Washington County. The STIP is a six-year program of statewide projects. A draft of the proposed program may be obtained by contacting UDOT and or the Transportation Planning Office of the Five County Association of Governments. A review and comment period on the proposed Dixie program begins on July 1, 2016 and extends through August 1, 2016. The Dixie Transportation Improvement Plan fulfills requirements for the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) public involvement process. This TIP public participation process is being used to satisfy St George City's Section 5307 POP requirements. This is the only notice that will be given and unless comments are received within the 30-day timeframe, the TIP document will become final unless amended.
