Proposals for prequalification of general contractors for construction of the project 4715 South Sewer Line Project January 2016 will be addressed to F. Greg Anderson, Public Works Director, and will be received at the office of the Kearns Improvement District (Owner), 5350 West 5400 South, Kearns, UT 84118 until 3:00 p.m. local time on the 20th day of January, 2016. Any proposal received after this specified time and date will not be considered. Prequalification packets will be available for pickup from the District at the above indicated address or by emailing Greg Anderson at ganderson@kearnsid.org .
Anticipated Scope of Project
- Connection to an existing in-service sewer.
- Installation of approximately 200 linear feet of 8-inch diameter sewer line and 3,900 linear feet of 24-inch diameter sewer line in 4715 South from 4100 West to 4670 West.
- CIPP rehabilitation of 300 linear feet of existing 24-inch RCP sewer line.
- Manhole rehabilitation of (2) existing manholes.
- Abandonment of existing sewer mains and manholes.
- Connections to existing laterals and installation of lateral stubs.
- Roadway restoration.
- Utility crossings.
The Owner intends to invite those General Contractors who are prequalified to submit bids for the project in February 2016, with the award and commencement of construction in March 2016.
