Ogden City City Council Meeting Agenda June 23, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. City Council Chambers Municipal Building - Third Floor 2549 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah 84401 1. Roll Call. 2. Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Moment of Silence. 4. Common Consent: (voice vote) a. Recognition of Waldo the Wildcat. Proposed Joint Resolution 2015-16 honoring Weber State University mascot, Waldo the Wildcat, for his National Championship. (Adopt joint resolution) b. Recognition of the Weber State University Spirit Squad. Proposed Joint Resolution 2015-17 honoring the Weber State University Spirit Squad for its exceptional performance at Nationals. (Adopt joint resolution) c. FY2016 Budget Amendment - Transfer to Redevelopment Agency. Propose Ordinance 2015-31 amending the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016 by increasing the anticipated revenues for a gross increase of $1,000,000. (Set public hearing for July 7, 2015) 5. Public Hearings: a. FY2015 Budget Amendment - Year-end adjustments. Proposed Ordinance 2015-26 amending the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015 by increasing the anticipated revenues for a gross increase of $5,293,258. (Adopt/not adopt ordinance - roll call vote) 6. Reports from the Planning Commission: a. Educational Institution Amendments. Proposed Ordinance 2015-32 amending the Ogden Municipal Code by amending section 15-2-6 to redefine educational institutions. (Adopt/not adopt ordinance - roll call vote) 7. Reports from Administration: a. Reappointment of Ogden City Constable. Proposed Resolution 2015-12 reappointing Rob Kolkman as Ogden City Constable. (Adopt/not adopt resolution - roll call vote) 8. Public Comments: This is an opportunity to address the Council regarding your concerns or ideas. Please state your name and address clearly for the record, and limit your comments to three minutes. 9. Comments: a. Mayor. b. Council Members. 10. Adjournment. Reminders: A Special Redevelopment Agency meeting will be held immediately following the Regular City Council meeting. A City Council work session will be held in the Council Chambers immediately following the Regular City Council and Special Redevelopment Agency meetings. The purpose of the work session is to receive public input regarding short-term residential vacation rentals and to discuss Council business. The short-term residential vacation rentals item will begin at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as Council business will allow.
