Notice of a Regular Commission Meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of Weber County, Utah PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Weber County, Utah will hold a regular commission meeting in the Commission Chambers of the Weber Center, 2380 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah, commencing at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, the 26th day of August 2014. The agenda for the meeting consists of the following: A. Welcome – Commissioner Gibson B. Pledge of Allegiance – Holin Wilbanks C. Thought of the Day – Commissioner Zogmaister D. Consent Items 1. Request for approval to ratify purchase orders in the amount of $108,163.41 dated August 19, 2014. 2. Request for approval of purchase orders in the amount of $110,251.60. 3. Request for approval to ratify warrants #312427 - #312633 in the amount of $896,285.67 dated August 19, 2014. 4. Request for approval of warrants #312634-#312862 in the amount of $1,594,928.56. 5. Request for approval of minutes for the meeting held on August 12, 2014. 6. Request from the Weber County Sheriff’s Office for approval to surplus fifteen intoxilyzers. 7. Request from the Weber County Sheriff’s Office for approval to surplus two Phillips Heartstart FR2 AEDs. 6. Request from the Weber County Clerk/Auditor’s Office for approval to surplus two file cabinets. 8. Request for approval to ratify a new beer license. 9. Request for approval of ACH payment to US Bank in the amount of $81,054.03 for purchasing card transactions made through the billing cycle ending July 15, 2014. 10. Request for approval of a retirement agreement by and between Weber County and Florence L. Peterson. 11. Request for approval to extend the contract by and between Weber County and Certified Public Accountants and Business Advisors for the Weber Housing Authority for the years ending December 31, 2014, 2015 and 2016. E. Action Items 1. Request for approval of an Interlocal Agreement by and between Weber County and Farr West City for recycling incentives. Presenter: Gary Laird 2. Request for approval of an Interlocal Agreement by and among Weber County, The City of Logan, Wasatch Integrated Waste Management District, North Pointe Solid Waste Special Service District, Trans-Jordan Cities and South Utah Valley Solid Waste District to jointly create, operate and maintain Northern Utah Environmental Resource Agency as an interlocal entity pursuant to the Utah Interlocal Cooperation Act, Title 11, Chapter 13, UCA. Presenter: Gary Laird 3. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Orion Renewable Energy Trading Group for a Renewable Energy Agreement. Presenter: Gary Laird 4. Request for approval to ratify a contract by and between Weber County and Ogden Friends of Acoustic Music for the rental of View, East, Middle and West Bowries at North Fork Park on the dates of August 22-24, 2014 for a music festival. Presenter: Jim Carter 5. Request for consideration and/or action of an interlocal agreement with North Ogden City designating the city as the land use approval authority for property in unincorporated Weber County located at approximately 1700 North Washington Boulevard. Presenter: Sean Wilkinson 6. Request for consideration and/or action on a request to add an addendum to the 2002 Zoning Development Agreement for Wolf Creek Resort. Presenter: Jim Gentry F.
