Notice of a Regular Commission Meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of Weber County, Utah PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Weber County, Utah will hold a regular commission meeting in the Commission Chambers of the Weber Center, 2380 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah, commencing at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, the 22nd day of July 2014. The agenda for the meeting consists of the following: A. Welcome – Commissioner Gibson B. Pledge of Allegiance – Paige Greenhalgh C. Thought of the Day – Commissioner Bell D. Consent Items 1. Request for approval of purchase orders in the amount of $68,102.14. 2. Request for approval of warrants #311486 - #311709 in the amount of $1,254,163.26. 3. Request for approval of minutes for the meeting held on July 15, 2014. 4. Request for approval of new business licenses. 5. Request for approval of the Weber County Tax Review Committee’s recommendation on a request for a settlement for delinquent taxes on Parcel Number 05-130-0040. E. Action Items 1. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Building Automation Controls (BAC) for a 5-year maintenance agreement for the controller systems for the Weber Center HVAC systems, including backup of data bases, and emergency services. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Grand Events Utah/VIP Family Extravaganza for this event to be held at the Golden Spike Event Center on August 15-18, 2014. Presenter: Jim Harvey 3. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and United Truck & Tractor Pullers/ Weekend in the Edge for a Truck & Tractor Pull to be held at the Golden Spike Event Center on September 20, 2014. Presenter: Jim Harvey 4. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Trevor Ellis for Horsemanship Clinics and a Western Concert at the Golden Spike Event Center at the Golden Spike Event Center on September 11-13, 2014. Presenter: Jim Harvey 5. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and the Western Bison Association for the Western Bison Show and Sale to be held at the Golden Spike Event Center during the first week of December for the next five years. Presenter: Jim Harvey 6. Request for approval to ratify a contract by and between Weber County and Jurassic Quest for an interactive dinosaur exhibit at the Golden Spike Event Center on June 26-29, 2014.
