NOTICE OF A REGULAR COMMISSION MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF WEBER COUNTY, UTAH PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Weber County, Utah will hold a regular commission meeting in the Commission Chambers of the Weber Center, 2380 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah, commencing at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, the 15th day of April 2014. The agenda for the meeting consists of the following: A. Welcome - Commissioner Gibson B. Pledge of Allegiance –Chris Ward C. Thought of the Day - Commissioner Bell D. Consent Items 1. Request for approval of Purchase Orders in the amount of $124,431.80. 2. Request for approval of Warrants #308208 - #308433 in the amount of $1,449,461.10. 3. Request for approval of the minutes for the meeting held on April 8, 2014. 4. Request for approval of new business licenses. E. Action 1. Request for approval of contracts by and between Weber County and the following for the Recreation Arts Museums and Parks Grant Awards: Ogden City Arts – Ogden’s First Friday Art Stroll Ogden City Arts - Ogden Theater Backdrops Ogden City Arts – LIVE! Downtown Summer Concert Series Ogden City Arts – Historic 25th Street Farmers and Art Market Presenter: Chris Ward 2. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Rocky Mountain Power for the Ogden Bay Waterfowl Management Area Project as part of the Weber County Emergency Watershed Protection Project. Request for approval of an amendment to a contract by and between Weber County and Cracar Construction for the Bank Protection Project as part of the Weber County Emergency Protection Project. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Utah Department of Transportation to establish funding terms and conditions for Project No F-0037 (10) 10, SR 37; 5100 West to SR-108 & Project No S0108 (30) 11, SR-108; Sr-37 to SR-79. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Marriott-Slaterville to provide road maintenance services for Marriott-Slaterville City. Presenter: Kelly Hipwell 6. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Crystal Jojola for a Vapor Fest to be held at the Golden Spike Event Center on June 21, 2014. Presenter: Jim Harvey 8. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Junction City Roller Dolls to have a Roller Derby at the Golden Spike Event Center on April 26, 2014. Presenter: Jim Harvey 9. Request for approval to grant a Deed of Easement to Bona Vista Water Improvement District to replace old piping within the Weber Industrial Park. Presenter: Chad Meyerhoffer F. Public hearing 1. Request for a motion to adjourn public meeting and convene public hearing. 2. Public hearing to consider and take action on a request to rezone property located at approximately 156 N. and State Road 158 (extending from the area near the Ogden City water treatment plant, easterly to the Pineview caretaker’s house) from the Forest-40 (F-40) Zone to the Forest Residential-1 (FR-1) Zone for the purpose of creating one building lot and implementing development standards that are more compatible with relatively small building lots. Presenter: Scott Mendoza 3. Request for a motion to adjourn public hearing and reconvene public meeting. G.
