Thursday, January 16, 2014 PERRY CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA The Perry City Council will hold a meeting on the Thursday identified above, starting at approximately 7:00 PM in the City Council Room at 3005 South 1200 West in Perry. Agenda items may vary depending on length of discussion, cancellation of scheduled items, or agenda alteration. Numbers and/or times are estimates of when agenda items will be discussed. Action on public hearings will always be later in the same meeting or at a subsequent meeting. Every agenda item shall be a discussion and/or action item, unless otherwise indicated. Approx. 7:00PM ? New Business Licenses and Procedural Issues A. Conflicts of Interest Declaration(s), If Any B. New Business License(s) C. Pass out Warrants to Council Members (and Possible Discussion) D. Appoint a Planning Commission Alternate Member E. Appoint a member to the Gun Range Committee 3. Approx. 7:10PM ? Approve of a Vice Chair/Chair Elect for 2014/2015 for Planning Commission (Doug Longfellow has been recommended by the Planning Commission) C. Development Agreement with Hix Snedeker Companies to allow for Commercial Sales for Agriculture Products on Lots 6 and 17 of Pointe Perry (southwest corner of 1100 South and Pointe Perry Drive) D. Motion Directing Planning Commission to Start the Process of Amending PMC Section 54.05.030 (Parking Stall Chart) to add Minimum Parking Requirements for ?Commercial Sales of Agricultural Products,? with Possibly 1 Stall per 500 sq ft. of indoor area and 1 Stall per 1000 sq ft. of outdoor sales area 5. Approx. 7:40 PM ? Financial, Public Utilities, and Technology Issues A. Approve of Warrants B. Discussion of Options for a Server/Email Upgrade 6. Approx. 7:45 PM-Public Safety and Personnel Issues A. Ordinance 14-A Non-Discrimination Ordinance B. Motion to Approve Allowing Mayor Cronin to Assume the Responsibilities, but not the Pay, of the Vacant City Administrator Position Pending an Administrative Re-Organization C. Motion to Approve a Temporary Professional Service Contract for Duncan Murray to Provide Perry City With Certain Temporary Transitional and Special Project Services 7. Approx. 8:15PM ?
