NOTICE OF A REGULAR COMMISSION MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF WEBER COUNTY, UTAH PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Weber County, Utah will hold a regular commission meeting in the Commission Chambers of the Weber Center, 2380 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah, commencing at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, the 7th day of January 2014. The agenda for the meeting consists of the following: A. Welcome - Commissioner Gibson B. Pledge of Allegiance – Kayden Gibson C. Thought of the Day - Commissioner Zogmaister D. Consent Items 1. Request for approval of Purchase Orders in the amount of $1,585,462.48. 2. Request for approval to ratify Warrants #304731 -#304927 in the amount of $2,841,856.31, dated December 24, 2013 and Warrants #304928 -#305180 in the amount of $500,608.90 dated December 31, 2013. 3. Request for approval of Warrants #305181 - #305354 in the amount of $456,307.66. 4. Request for approval of the minutes for the meetings held on December 10 and 17, 2013. 5. Request for approval of the Tax Review Board recommendation to approve the primary residence exemption for 2012 on parcel #24-012-0011. 6. Request for approval of the Tax Review Board recommendation for a refund in the amount of $375.06 for 2012 on Parcel #20-062-0001. 7. Request for approval of new beer licenses. E. Action 1. Discussion and/or action appointing a Chair and Vice Chair to the Weber County Commission. Presenter: Commissioner Gibson 2. Request for approval of an Inter-local Agreement by and among Weber County, Ogden City, Roy City, South Ogden City, Riverdale City, North Ogden City, Pleasant View City, Harrisville City, Morgan County and Weber State University for the Ogden Metro Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT). Presenter: Reed Richards 3. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Eurherz-Musiikanten for a professional band from Hof, Germany to play at the 2014 Weber County sponsored Hof German Fest. Presenter: Jim Harvey 4. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Gruber Family Band for a professional band to play at the 2014 Weber County sponsored Hof Winter Fest. Presenter: Jim Harvey 5. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Ogden Publishing Corp for the Standard Examiner Spring Home & Garden Show to be held at the Golden Spike Event Center on February 26-March 2, 2014. Presenter: Jim Harvey 6. Request for approval of a resolution of the County Commissioners of Weber County appointing members to the Powder Mountain Water and Sewer Improvement District Governing Board. Presenter: Commissioner Gibson F. Public Hearings 1. Request for a motion to adjourn public meeting and convene public hearings. 2. Public hearing to consider vacating any interest that the general public may have obtained to the private road at Powder Mountain Ski Resort, recorded on November 24, 1982 in Plat Book 24, pages 80, 81 and 82. Presenter: Sean Wilkinson 3. Public hearing to consider vacating the “Buildable Area” designation from Lot 5 of River Ranch. Presentation: Sean Wilkinson 4. Public Comments. 5. Request for a motion to adjourn public hearings and reconvene public meeting. G. Action on Public Hearings 1. Request for approval to vacate any interest the general public may have obtained to the private road at Powder Mount Ski Resort, recorded on November 24, 1982 in Plat Book 24, pages 80, 81 and 82. 2. Request for approval to vacate the “Buildable Area” designation from Lot 5 of River Ranch. H. Assign Pledge of Allegiance and Thought of the Day for Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. I.
