Notice is hereby given that the Central Wasatch Commission will hold a short-Term Projects Committee meeting at approximately 3:00 P.M., or soon thereafter, on Thursday, April 14, 2022. In view of the current Covid-19 pandemic, this meeting will occur electronically, without a physical anchor location, as authorized by UTAH CODE ANN. 52-4-207(4). Please take notice that a quorum the Board of Commissioners (the 'Board') of the Central Wasatch Commission (the 'CWC') may attend the meeting of the Board's Short-Term Projects Committee Scheduled for Thursday, 14 April 2022; beginning at 3:00 p.m. virtually. The agenda for that meeting of the Committee is accessible here: Utah Public Notice Website, The Salt Lake Tribune, and Deseret News.
Civility and decorum should be applied in all discussions and debate. Difficult questions, tough challenges to a point of view, and criticism of ideas and information are legitimate elements of a free democracy in action. Public officials and the public are encouraged to refrain from making belligerent, personal, impertinent, slanderous, threatening, abusive, or disparaging comments.
3:30 P.M. Opening
Note: The goal for this meeting is for the Short-Term Projects Committee to review and discuss the merits of a group of project proposals. At the close of the meeting, it is the goal that the Committee will arrive at a consensus on which projects to recommend to the Commission for full or partial funding.
1. Commissioner Nann Worel will conduct the meeting as Chair of the Short-Term Projects Committee.
2. The Committee will deliberate over project proposals with the goal of arriving at a
consensus and recommendation for the Commission to be made during the May 2nd
meeting.

1. Chair of the Short-Term Projects Committee Nann Worel will close the CWC Short-Term
Projects Committee Meeting.

Final action may be taken in relation to any topic listed on the agenda, including but not limited to adoption, rejection,
amendment, addition of conditions and variations of options discussed.

Determination of the Chair of the Short-Term Projects Committee of
the Central Wasatch Commission
Concerning an Electronic Meeting Anchor Location
PURSUANT TO UTAH CODE ANN. 52-4-207(4), I, as the Chair of the Short-Term Projects
Committee of the Central Wasatch Commission ('CWC'), hereby determine that conducting
Board or committee meetings at any time during the next 30 days at an anchor location presents a
substantial risk to the health and safety of those who may be present at the anchor location. The
COVID-19 pandemic remains and the recent rise of more infectious variants of the virus merits
continued vigilance to avoid another surge in cases which could again threaten to overwhelm
Utah's healthcare system.
