The Dammeron Valley Fire and Rescue Special Service District is currently hiring a Fire and Rescue Chief. The Department has three brush trucks, one fire engine and two emergency vehicles. The Station currently has three bays, a training room, kitchen, work-out room, secure medical room, and an administration office. In addition to our primary responsibility to serve Dammeron Valley, we currently serve four areas along State Route (Highway) 18 in Southern Utah; with Medical Rescue, Urban Interface, and Wildland Fire Service.
Dammeron Valley is located 14 miles north of St George, Utah on Highway 18. We are a growing community which enjoys multiple recreational opportunities including horseback, mountain bike, and ATV riding, fishing, hiking, water sports, and much more.
We are accepting applications from qualified candidates willing to relocate to Dammeron Valley, within five miles of the station. This will enable the individual to handle calls and administer the Firehouse Station in a rapid manner.
