PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the St. George City Planning Commission will hold public hearings on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 5:00 PM to consider the following:

An amendment to the General Plan by adding the Modern Income Housing Element.

A general plan amendment to change areas of LDR (Low Density Residential) and COM (Commercial) into LDR (Parcel #1) on approximately 1.86 acres, MDR (Medium Density Residential (Parcel #2) on approximately 16.55 acres, and COM (Parcel #3) on approximately 0.62 acres for a total area of approximately 19.026 acres. The areas are generally located north of the Southern Parkway at the vicinity of the future Interchange #5.

A zone change amendment in the PD-C (Planned Development Commercial) zone to allow review of a conceptual site plan, building elevations, building renderings, colors and materials, and conceptual landscaping for a proposed 4-story hotel with an associated 2-story parking garage to be called 'Black Stone Hotel.'

Interested persons are encouraged to attend these public hearings to be held in the City Hall Council Chambers at 175 East and 200 North or present their views in writing at least one day prior to the meeting.
