- TOWN OF STERLING 75 N 100 W STERLING, UT 84665 SPECIAL PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE STERLING TOWN COUNCIL WILL HOLD A SPECIAL PUBLIC MEETING TO INTERVIEW PROSPECTIVE CANDIDATES FOR STERLING TOWN COUNCIL FOLLOWED BY A TOWN COUNCIL MEETING FOR A VOTE. Thursday Oct 15, 2024 7:00 PM AT THE STERLING TOWN COMMUNITY CENTER, 75 N 100 W, STERLING, UT. Those who live within the Town of Sterling limits and willing to follow standard election requirements laws (US citizen, registered voter) may be considered for the appointment by filling out the questionnaire attached and submitting it to the Sterling Town Drop Box (CLEARLY LABELED) or by giving it to any of the Town Council by 7PM on Oct 15th. The questionnaire will also be available at the Sterling Post Office or by asking any of the Town Council or Town Clerk. The interview process will be open for the public to listen and give comments after. Items on the agenda (which require no published notice of time) may be considered earlier than shown on the agenda. **Items added to the original agenda which was posted on September 30, 2024. The Agenda shall be as follows: Welcome by Mayor Zeb Wignall Pledge of Allegiance Roll Call Interviews of the prospective Candidates Meeting Adjournment TOWN COUNCIL TO FOLLOWING SPECIAL MEETING FOR VOTE CERTIFICATE OF POSTING NOTICE AND AGENDA I, the duly appointed and acting Recorder for the Town of Sterling, Utah, hereby certify that copies of the foregoing Notice and Agenda were posted at three public places within the municipality; emailed or hand delivered to the Mayor and Town Officers, posted on http://pmn.utah.gov this 30th day of September, 2024.
