- The purpose of this notice is to announce the regional Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) awards for the 2022 program year. The Five County Association of Governments received an allocation of $956,038. The Five County Association of Governments was preapproved for funding in the amount of $50,000 for CDBG Administration and Planning and $48,000 for Technical planning assistance. Cedar City on behalf of the Cedar City Housing Authority was approved for set aside funding in the amount of $90,714 as the second year of their successful application for multi-year funding in 2021. Following the application and rating and ranking process outlined in the 2022 Community Development Block Grant program Policies and Procedures manual, awards were made on 3/9/2022. The following is a list of those awards: - Milford City on behalf of the Beaver Housing Authority for the acquisition of land for low-to-moderate housing- $90,000 - Cedar City on behalf of the Cedar City Housing Authority for the acquisition of low-to-moderate income housing units- $175,000 - Panguitch City for the acquisition of a fire truck- $200,000 - Brian Head Town for the acquisition of a water tender- $144,000 - Henrieville Town for the Town Playground project- $158,324 Questions or comments regarding these awards or the application process may be directed to Alyssa Gamble at (435) 673-3548 or by email at agamble@fivecounty.utah.gov.
