- Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Supplemental Funding - 4th Public Hearing Notice Five County Association of Governments (FCAOG) will hold a public hearing to discuss the projects determined to be applied for in the CDBG-CV program. This supplemental CDBG funding is authorized by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act known as the CARES Act. These special CDBG-CV funds will be used to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). The hearing will begin at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at the Five County Association of Governments St. George Office, large conference room, 1070 W. 1600 S. St. George, UT 84770. This meeting will also be available via electronic meeting at https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/441268853 or call at +1 (646) 749-3122, access code 441-268-853. Please mute your devise when you are not talking. Projects have been determined by reaching out to the public and local elected officials. FCAOG held three public hearings, to inform the public of the CDBG-CV program and to allow public discussion of possible CDBG-CV projects. FCAOG staff held several meetings and reached out multiple times via email to the Five County RRC, who are comprised of county commissioners, mayors, and school board representatives from all five counties in southwest Utah. Projects include: - Meals-on-Wheels Truck - Panguitch Senior Center - UV Sanitation Cart - Kane County - Business Assistance - Throughout the region - Vaccine Delivery - Throughout the region - Backup generator - Minersville Senior Center - Backup generator - Beaver Senior Center - Meals-on-Wheels Truck - Escalante Senior Center - Backup generator - Milford Senior Center - Backup generator - Panguitch Care and Share - Backup generator - Escalante Senior Center - Meals-on-Wheels truck - Route #1 Enoch Area - Meals-on-Wheels truck - Route #4 South & West Side of Cedar City - Meals-on-Wheels truck - Parowan Area - Family Health Care Services - Cedar City location - Meals Truck - Kanab Senior Center - Freezer/Fridge/Prop. Generator - Kanab Senior Center - Sanitizer Spray - Kanab Senior Center - 2 Door Reach -in Freezer FT49F HC - Long Valley Senior Center - A TV, laptops, microphone, camera, and mounting systems will be purchased and delivered to the Kane County senior center - Memory Matters Transportation Van - Meals on Wheels Truck - St. George Senior Center - Family Health Care Services - Hurricane location - AOG CDBG-CV Administrative Activities Further information can be obtained by contacting Nate Wiberg at 435-673-3548 ext. 105.
