PUBLIC NOTICE of PASSAGE
On February 24, 2021 at the regularly scheduled Oakley City Council meeting, ordinance 2021-02 was formally adopted and is effective as of this posting date, March 3, 2021.
ORDINANCE 2021-02
The intent of this ordinance is to minimize flood losses and to comply with the requirements of the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968. The National Flood Insurance Program is a voluntary program administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and the Oakley City officials have elected to participate in this program. They view this participation to be in the best interest of the community's public health, safety, and general welfare.
This ordinance is available in its entirety for viewing at the Oakley City offices, located at 960 West Center Street, Monday thru Thursday during the hours of operation 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
