PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING NOTICE
To Be Held: November 24th, 2020 at 7:00 PM
To Be Held At: 1261 N. Dammeron Valley Drive East, Dammeron Valley, Utah 84783
Notice is Hereby Given that the Administrative Control Board of the Dammeron Valley Fire Special Service District will hold a public hearing regarding:
- Proposal and adoption of amendments to the 2020 budget
- Presentation of the SSD's intention to increase the SSD fees in 2021
- Proposal and adoption of the increased 2021 budget
The purpose of the hearing will be to hear comments from the public regarding the proposed fee increase and budgets to be presented.
The reasons for the proposed fee increase include, but is not limited to, the funding of the following:
- Contracted full-time Fire Chief salary
- Additional Fire Station staffing and PPE
- To meet minimum requirements of the NFPA 1720 code adopted by Washington County in which the SSD is obligated to comply.
- To ensure adequate protection and response time to the Community.
A public hearing will be held by the Administrative Control Board of the Dammeron Valley Fire Special Service District on Tuesday, November 24th, 2020, at 7:00 p.m., following the regular Board Meeting, at the Dammeron Valley Fire Station Training Room located at 1261 N. Dammeron Valley Drive East, Dammeron Valley, Utah 84783
