Description/Agenda

Weber County as a sponsor applicant of the Wasatch Front Regional Council will hold a public hearing to discuss the projects determined to be applied for in the CDBG-CV program. This supplemental CDBG funding is authorized by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act known as the CARES Act. These special CDBG-CV funds will be used to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). The hearing will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 Per the governor's executive order to facilitate the ability of public bodies to conduct meetings electronically to slow the spread of COVID-19, the meeting will be available via Zoom Meeting. Zoom Meeting phone in information- 1-253-215-8782 Meeting ID: 943 567 209 The Wasatch Front Regional Council will administer the following projects: Rental Assistance through the Housing Authorities and Small Business Emergency Grants located in Morgan, Tooele, and Weber Counties (excluding Ogden City). Comments will be solicited on projects' scope, implementation and the effects on residents. Further information can be obtained by contacting Christy Dahlberg at 801.363.4250 x 5005.
